Tupelo King of the Hill Triathlon May 1st, 2010
Come join the fun on May 1st, 2010 at the Fifth Annual King of Hill Triathlon at Tombigbee State Park, in Tupelo, Mississippi. We are excited about the move of this venue to earlier in the season which fills a void in the race calendar. The water will be cleaner, the temperatures should be cooler, and it will be a great way to prepare for the upcoming season. The beautiful surroundings of the Park and the challenging course in and on its outskirts will provide participants with a great triathlon experience. The race will begin at 8:00 am and a post race party will follow with awards presentations. This will be a chip timed race and will be sancioned by USAT. When May 1st 2010 at 8:00am Transition will open at 6:00am. Park admission is 3.00 per vehicle. Where (Click Here for a Map of the Race Site) Tombigbee State Park is located 6 miles southeast of Tupelo off Mississippi Hwy. 6. Park information and accommodations can be found at: http://www.mdwfp.com/ search under Parks. Directions to Tombigbee State Park: Swim The .5 mile swim will be a Time Trial format. Due to the race date change to early in the year this race will most likely be a wetsuit legal race. Bike (Click Here for a Map of the bike course) The 20 mile bike leaves the back of the Park and winds through some rolling hills of the surrounding area, several flat fast sections, and concludes through the front of the Park. There will be 1 aid station on the bike. Run (Click Here for a Map of the run course) The 3.6 mile run is an out and back within the confines of the Park. There is shade along the run and aid stations will be located at every mile and the Finish Line. Awards TBD Premium Cool Max T-Shirts guaranteed to all racers signing up before April 15th 2010. Packet Pick Up: Packet pick up will be at Trails and Treads on Friday April 30th from 4pm till 7pm. Trails and Treads is located at 1715 Mccullough Blvd, Tupelo, MS. Click Here for a map. Race Day pick up: from 6:00am to 7:00am at the race site prior to a prompt 8:00am start.

After April 1, 2010, there will be NO REFUNDS. Please notify Tupelo Multisport LLC in writing (with your signature) if you must withdraw. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing of refunds, upon receipt of withdrawal. Active.com refunds are done by check from Tupelo Multisport LLC, only.
